Work Party April 2nd
Come out to the track this coming Sunday April 2rd @ 10am, and lend a hand at getting the track in race-able shape.
No special skills or previous experiance required.
If you're available on Monday April 3rd 5:30-7pm we'll be working on the track as well. The goal is to have open gate practice on Tuesday April 4th 5:30-8pm and start racing the following Tuesday, April 11th.
Start of 2017 season
Our outdoor BMX season is around the corner. If you haven't had a chance to renew your Cycling BC membership head on over to https://cyclingbc.net/membership/registration-2017/
If your rider is 12 and Under or if you are planning on competing in any UCI sanctioned events outside of BC (World Champs, National Champs,etc) they should get a BC Race License. If you are an adult or your rider doesn't meet the above requirements then a Provincial Ride License will work.
WE WILL NOT BE RENEWING / PROCESSING CYCLING BC MEMBERSHIPS AT THE TRACK.
We are tentatively looking to have the track up and running for the first week of April. With open gate practice Monday April 3rd and our first night of racing on Tuesday the 4th.
This is very dependent on the weather over then next 3 weeks as the cold, snowy winter has taken a toll on the riding surface and without a stretch of warmer, dry weather we won't be able to get it into shape.
Stay tuned to our FB page and Website for information regarding work parties - the more hands we have the greater chance that we'll be able to get the season started off sooner.
For the time being please stay off the riding surface as it will make more work for the volunteers to groom.
Premier Series February 18-19th, 2017
2017 BC Premier Series is starting out on the weekend of February 18-19, 2017. Just a reminder to all riders that you will need to be running the right could plates. They can be purchased at the track for $5. Challenge Class Male - Yellow plate with black numbers, Challenge Class Female - Blue plate with white numbers, Cruiser Plate Male and Female - Red with white numbers. Classes are a little different this season in hopes of providing a better racing experience for riders and help prepare them for larger events.
2017 Spring Abby Indoor BMX
2017 Spring Indoor BMX Schedule. If you haven't already renewed you license please do so online before heading out. If you are planning on going to worlds at Rock Hill you will need a UCI race license. If your rider is 12 and under they need a BC Race License.

Well folks we tried to squeeze another race in this season and it appears the weather gods are not favoring us this evening. So unfortunately there is NO RACING this evening.
I want to throw out a huge thanks to all the riders and families that came out to our track this season and made it the best place to be on a Tuesday night!
Don't forget our AGM will be taking place after the year end party at the Poirier Rec Centre in Coquitlam. The executive team can always use more help, don't be afraid to come on board.
